Our biggest fundraiser is the annual Christmas Fayre which is run by the committee and a sub committee made up of many of the parents and carers. It is held at Pre-School and includes Santa’s grotto, refreshments & cakes, stalls and many other festive activities.
We also have other fundraising activities during the year which you can get involved in.

CHPS Partycycle Box
For just £10.00 you can support Caversham Heights Pre-School by hiring our party box, eliminating waste and saving time and money.
Our party box consists of many reusable items all in one place for up to 36 people, allowing for you to concentrate on that all-important event.
Party Box contents include:
36 x plates
36 x cups
12 x small bowls (ideal for snacks)
3 x jugs (ideal for both water & squash)
6 x plates with 3 compartments
Hiring the party box is easy, just email our fundraising team at fundraising@cavershamheightspreschool.org with your preferred date and we will arrange collection with you.
Bags2School
We are pleased to announce that the pre-school has organised a textile collection with Bag2School in order to raise funds.
Bag2School are the UK’s leading textile recycler and fundraiser working with schools and since its inception in 2001 they have now paid out over £20 million. As well as raising vitally needed funds for our pre-school, it also helps the environment by helping to divert unwanted textiles away from landfill. A recent DEFRA report has shown that textile collection schemes are helping to reduce the volume of textiles discarded as municipal solid waste. However, it is a fact that as a nation we still send 1,081,000 tonnes of textiles to landfill every year.
By getting involved in our Bag2School collection, you have an opportunity to sort through your cupboards and wardrobes and donate unwanted textiles in the bag provided – this can include adults’ and children’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), hats, belts, handbags and soft toys. Please note bedding, curtains, and household linen cannot be accepted (refer to www.bag2school.com for details). In addition to raising much needed funds it will also raise awareness amongst the children of the benefits of recycling and reuse.
Donations bags will be provided. If you fill the donation bag and still have more then you can use any other bag to donate your items. Don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out as well!
