*Thursday afternoon session has limited spaces and is reserved for children who are aged 3+ at the start of term.
All children attending on Wednesdays and children staying for the afternoon sessions on Tuesday and Thursday bring a packed lunch with them.
Sessions run during term time only.
Fees & Funding
Caversham Heights Pre-School is a registered charity. All of the money that we receive, whether from fees, fundraising events or government bodies, is used solely to run and support the activities of the pre-school.
Government funding can be used to fully pay the cost of a child’s sessions once the child becomes eligible (the term following their third birthday). The Early Years Grant provides funding for each child for 15 hours per week (or 30 hours if eligible) for a total of 38 weeks per year. For funded children who attend for more hours than their funding allowance or for children who are not yet eligible for funding, we charge fees. Invoices are sent three times a year during the months of September, January and May. Payment is required within 14 days of an invoice being issued. We accept childcare vouchers and are registered with the Tax Free Childcare scheme.
Our fee rates are as follows (reviewed each April):

We require a term’s notice (12 weeks) that a child is leaving the pre-school. If notice is not given, it is our policy to charge the fees for 12 weeks from the date of notice.
We offer places for children from the age of 2.5 years. Please contact us for further information.
Voluntary Contribution
We ask all parents to consider making a regular donation of £48 per term to help us cover running costs including resources and activities for the children. This can be paid by bank transfer to Caversham Heights Preschool, Sort code 20-71-03, Account no. 50722294 with a payment reference “your child’s name Donation”. This really makes a difference to what we can offer each term, thank you in advance for your support.
Caversham Heights Pre-School is registered to receive Gift Aid. We would be very grateful if you could complete and return the form from the link below to giftaid@cavershamheightspreschool.org. This enables us to claim an extra 25p per £1 that you donate.
